Hello-hello,
And thanks so much for stopping by! It is Day 2 of Neat&Tangled Release week. Today, I am playing with both Heartfelt Thanks and Circular stamp sets.
I stamped the floral bouquet from Heartfelt Thanks stamp set in black and then coloured it using dots from Circular stamp set. I stamped lots of dots in various colours, heavily overlapping them. I used first, second and even third generation stamping to colour my image. I also wasn't careful about stamping behind the lines.
I then heat-embossed the image once again over all the dots colouring using my misti tool and hero arts embossing powder in white. To say the truth, it didn't turned out exactly the way I wanted, but I anyway decided to go with it.
Plus, I had a little accident. While I am crafting, my baby boy is usually somewhere near. He is 2,5 y.o. Sometimes, you may see his hands in my videos. I haven't seen how, but he teared my coloured piece in two. That's why I have two pieces of the bouquet on my card. Turns out, I like this a lot. I even think you may use a smaller pieces of this beautiful image to frame a whole card. Plus, this image big enough to make a gatefold design cards.
So, when you not sure what to do, try to split your image in pieces; it may give you some unexpected yet beautiful results.
The background for this card is done with Delicate Dots Rubber Background stamp, heat-embossed in gold. The bouquet is placed over a craft coloured die cut piece and then adhered with foam squares.

I love how detailed, yet foggy and delicate this card turned out. Hope you do to (wink:)

Oh my - this card is sooooo gorgeous! That white embossing really sets it off!
ОтветитьУдалитьWhat a fun card! The random stamping turned out so beautiful with all the different generations! :)
ОтветитьУдалитьI love this stamp set and your card is beautiful. The colors and coloring are amazing.
ОтветитьУдалитьSo pretty with the embossing and these colors.
ОтветитьУдалитьHi Daria :) Your sweet "accident" makes the card look like it is wrapped with the floral bouquet!!! Quite lovely and I'm going to try it myself! Your coloring looks like a watercolor and it too is delightful! Thanks for inspiring me :)
ОтветитьУдалитьGorgeous card! Love how you colored the flowers.
ОтветитьУдалитьHmmm . . . I've had some similar help before from my littles; a cut right through the center of an image. BUT, your accident turned into a beautiful card! Love the colors and the way the image is split on both sides.
ОтветитьУдалитьIMHO, this card "takes the cake"! :)
