Layering flower bouquet for Neat&Tangled.

Hello-hello Awesome People!

Today, I am again playing with Heartfelt Thanks stamp and die for Neat and Tangled blog

This card turned out as a progress for my previous project. You can find the blog post here. There is a video too that shows major step of creating this card.

I started with heat-embossing a flower bouquet from Heartfelt Thanks stamp  set in white over craft and over white card-stock.  At first, I wanted to use just coloured cardstock. But then, I've decided to use simple colouring. I coloured the bouquet with distress oxide inks in Peacock feathers and Cracked Pistachio. I think, those are two of my most favourite colours.

Then, I die cut the coordinating die using different colours of cardstock from Over The Rainbow Assorted Cardstock Pack and from Gold metallic cardstock.

I cut my coloured bouquet in two to split it across the card, so it frames it. And then, started to adhere coloured pieces from behind, to make them peek behind the major image.  I used foam tape to create different layers and dimension.

The sentiment is from the Grateful Heart stamp set, heat embossed in white. White flowers on the background looks like lace. I like this trick. As a finishing touch, I have added a few sequins in gold.

That's it. Thanks so much for stopping by, and see you next time,
